Meet the team

Lisa Godfrey (Hygienist)

I have worked in the dental field since 1979 and I love what I do. In 1999 I entered the dental hygiene program at Foothill College, after 29 years of assisting. That was my best decision ever. I graduated in 2001 and have been practicing hygiene ever since. I live in my condo with cats and am quite a homebody. I do have a very awesome circle of friends who I love to go out with, eat, and travel with. I am truly Blessed and Life is Very Good:)

I have completed the Dental Hygiene

Program at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills in 1996 and have practiced in general and specialty

dental offices in the Bay Area ever since as a hygienist for the last 28 years. I have experience in the prevention and treatment of

periodontal diseases, including the use of dental lasers. In my early years as a hygienist, I

volunteered with wild animal dentistry at the San Francisco Zoo and Marine World Africa USA.

As an animal lover, I have adopted and raised a number of rescue dogs over the years.

I have been married for thirty years, have two college-age children, and enjoy spending my free time outdoors hiking and gardening.

I grew up in San Jose and received my B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis in 2006, and then my Dental Hygiene license in 2012. I have been working with Dr. Vuppala for 12 years now and have worked with Dr. Dhir for years in the past. My values are building trusting relationships with the patients and striving to provide quality care to them based on their specific needs. I believe that prevention is the best form of medicine and when it comes to teeth, oral health education plays a key role in that. When I’m not cleaning teeth, I’m either baking or spending time with my family – my husband, two sons, and my Formoson Mountain Dog.
